Pfizer Thailand Foundation is an independent philanthropic organization registered in 2001 with a contribution from Pfizer Thailnd Ltd., an afiliate of Pfizer Inc., New York . The Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, governed by an independent board of directors and a committee of trustees.

The Foundation's mission is to partner with local community in Thailand in supporting philanthropic and educational activities in science and health care.

Pfizer Thailand recognized that providing good health care is more than discovering and delivering the best and the latest medicines to the patient. It must also endeavor to improve understanding of science, help the medical community in its quest to better serve the patient, and educate people, especially those economically deprived, become better informed about their health and various diseases and treatments. The organization is deeply committed to this mission in the Thai community.

Pfizer Thailand Foundation is governed by a Board of mostly outside Directors, which includes leaders form academia, the medical profession, and philanthropy. The Board's decisions to commit financial and other resources are guided solely by the Foundation's mission to support educational and philanthropic initiatives.
